About
Hi! Welcome to Honeyanne
Hi, I'm Stacy. I have little to show for the last 45 years except five children, four step children, a dog, a handful of wonderful friends, a few grey hairs, and a little bit of passion for things like bees, poetry, and zines. I also have a bunch of stories & thoughts tumbling around in my head - things I want to say out loud, for the record (even if it's only my own).

My parents have recently moved into a little suite in our house - my mother has dementia. Sometimes she doesn't know who I am. Usually she likes me anyway.

I have no degrees, diplomas or certificates - yet. My career pays me in sticky hugs, wet kisses and dandelion bouquets. I can't say I'm an expert in any field. But I have been keeping a journal since I was 8 years old. Everything I've written, I've kept locked away in a big trunk under the stairs. The other day I counted the volumes - over 150 journals - maybe it's time to accept that I am a bit of a writer... Perhaps after 37 years of relentless reflecting, I can admit that I am something of a diarist.
Honeyanne is my attempt to claim the title.

Maybe I have something to contribute - even if it's just a kind word or a comforting concept. If by stopping here makes you feel less alone then I have spent my time wisely.
